The final match of the Football Women’s Cup will be played in Tampere at Tammela Stadium on September 22.
HJK beat KuPS 3–0 in their own semi-final match on Tuesday. Those from Helsinki were responsible for the hits Sara Sievistö, Jenna Topra mixed Elli-Noora Kainulainen.
In the second semi-final, Honka defeated PK-35 Vantaa with a score of 3–2 at the end of an even battle. The match was decided in the final moments, when Honga’s 19-year-old defender Aura Nyholm scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute of the match.
The final match of the cup will be played in Tampere at Tammela Stadium on September 22. The winner of the final will receive 20,000 euros in prize money. The silver team can settle for a pot of 4,000 euros.
