Do you absolutely want to cover up that ugly scar on your face? We have the solution to hide it while protecting your skin from the sun. We explain!

While it’s nice to enjoy the sun in summer, we keep repeating that you absolutely must apply sunscreen to protect your skin from premature aging or the risk of cancer, for example. Some people have difficulty applying makeup in summer because they don’t know how to do it. Good news for you: makeup and sunscreen are completely compatible. Here’s how to apply your makeup and sunscreen, depending on the different skin problems.

    Scars

If your goal is to hide the scars on your face, it is rather advisable to cover them with a blond eyebrow pencil. This shade will go perfectly with the white of the scar, for perfect camouflage! In the case of colored scars, focus instead on applying concealer: green if it is red, yellow if it is blue or purple, and coral if it is rather brownish. What is better than colorimetry to solve your problems?

    Redness

To hide your redness, you must first moisturize your face with an anti-redness treatment. Then comes the step of sunscreen to protect you from UV rays but also to limit the risk of inflammation.

As for makeup, it is recommended to apply a little green concealer locally, on your redness. To blend it, gently tap it on your skin. For a healthy glow, add a few touches of blush, favoring apricot or peach shades, unlike pink or red which generally bring out redness.

    Pregnancy mask

This skin problem can give you a dull complexion that can be brightened with a vitamin C serum, to which we obviously add the application of sunscreen on top!

Once your skin is hydrated and protected, you can neutralize dark spots with a coral concealer and even out the look with foundation, depending on your preference. A touch of pink blush will also give you a healthy glow!

    Vitiligo

If you have vitiligo and want to even out your skin tone, you can apply a self-tanning gel to the lighter parts of your face. Despite this step, it is essential not to forget the sunscreen step! After that, add (if you wish) fluid foundation to further even out your skin tone.

It is still important to remember that you do not have to hide these marks on your skin. These are just techniques that can be applied if you want, but absolutely not necessary! The most important thing is to moisturize your skin and protect it from UV rays!
