An alarm was received at 00.32 about several shots and a large police operation is underway in the area.
– There has been a shooting at an apartment in the residential area and it is now cordoned off pending a technical examination. I can’t say much right now other than that there are no reports of injuries, says Caroline Karlsson, press spokesperson at the Bergslagen police region.
It is unknown if anyone was in the apartment during the shooting.
– We cannot give more details at the moment, but if you have seen anything, please let us know. No one has been arrested at the moment and we have started a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences, says Caroline Karlsson.
