For the first time this season, Timmy Hansen finished on the podium. After finishing as the winner ahead of Ole Christian Veiby, Hansen took the opportunity to celebrate with his brother Kevin, who finished third.
– Timmy is the fastest at the start, he is in the lead all the time. The Hansen brothers are finally getting paid for their hard work, says SVT Sports expert Jonas Kruse.
Timmy Hansen was emotional in the victory interview afterwards.
– It feels fantastic. This was one hundred percent a team effort. We knew what we needed to do. I am very happy, I am so proud, he says.
Johan Kristoffersson, who leads the overall standings, ended up just off the podium when he finished 29 thousandths behind Kevin Hansen.
