There is a fire in an apartment building in the Hjällbo district in Gothenburg.
– We are there with an extensive resource package. It appears to be on fire in the attic of the house, but we have not received reports of whether the fire has spread down to other floors, says Fredrik Johansson, alarm and line operator at the rescue service to GP.
The alarm came in to the rescue service at 4:30 p.m. and smoke has spread over eastern Gothenburg, reports the GP.
At 6:30 p.m., the fire service announces that the fire has not spread to other parts of the house.
– But it has spread to other parts of the attic, we are working full time and have an ambulance and police on site as well, says Micael Olsson, alarm and line operator at the rescue service.
