According to the owner, all but three of the sheep have died in the suspected attack. Of the stock of 47 sheep, eleven were found alive, but eight of them were in such poor condition that they had to be euthanized.
The gruesome discovery was made on Friday evening when the owners were going to look after the sheep.
— There were dead sheep everywhere. Absolutely terrible. Not only that they are dead, but they are badly mangled, says the animal owner Annelie Näsström to VLT.

The County Administrative Board on site
Wildlife officers from the county board have been on site and documented the damage.
“A suspected wolf attack has been reported and is being inspected,” says the county board’s wildlife officer Nathalie Kindbladh to SVT Västmanland.
