Sudan: FSR paramilitaries continue to attack civilians in Sennar State

Sudan FSR paramilitaries continue to attack civilians in Sennar State

The Geneva ceasefire talks in Sudan continue for the fourth day, with a delegation from the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in attendance but no Sudanese government or military present, making the outcome of the talks uncertain. Sponsored by the United States, Switzerland, and Saudi Arabia, the talks are being held in the presence of the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and the African Union. The talks do not appear to be stopping the recurrence of abuses against civilians in Sudan. Reports from Sennar State, southeast of Khartoum, indicate that the Rapid Support Forces have carried out another massacre of villagers in Jalgini.
