Heliövaara and Patten won their third match in the hard court ATP tournament.
In the doubles of the US Cincinnati ATP tournament in tennis Harri Heliövaara advanced as a pair of Henry Patten with for the third round. The Finnish-British pair defeated Holland in the second round match by Wesley Koolhof and Croatia by Nikola Mektic in three sets (6–7,7–6,10–5).
The match had previously been postponed due to rain, but as the weather conditions improved, the match was able to be played to the end.
In the third round, Heliövaara and Patten will face El Salvador Marcelo Arevalo and Croatia Mate Pavic.
