Group of students benefiting from SACBO Intercultura scholarships at Ryanair headquarters

(Finance) – The meeting ended in Dublinstudy and training experience which allowed six students, users of the Milan Bergamo Airport and Intercultura Scholarshipsto spend a month in the Irish capital, engaging with a reality that has enriched their cultural background and introduced them to a dimension of social life destined to broaden the horizons of interpersonal relationships.

As per tradition, the study trip to Ireland had its final moment at the Ryanair headquarters in Dublin, where the group of students was joined and accompanied on the visit by Azzurra Cortinovis and Alessia Gritti from the SACBO Human Resources Department.

Before the return flight, the young participants were able to delve into the organizational aspects that characterize the corporate structure of the airline Ryanair, the main player at Milan Bergamo Airport. During the private visit, they had the opportunity to review the history of Ryanair, which marked the evolution of air transport in Europe, and to undergo a “full immersion” in the organizational model, from the operations office to the sectors that preside over flight scheduling and the rotation of crews and personnel. The tour inside Ryanair’s headquarters concluded with a guided experience on the flight simulator used by the crews for their training.

John Sanga, President of SACBOaddressed a message of greeting and appreciation to the young people who flew to Dublin with the scholarships promoted by the SACBO and Intercultura groups, underlining the importance that educational trips, like the one they undertook, represent a fundamental chapter in personal growth and maturation, capable of generating new ideas and interests in the search for one’s own educational path.

“The consolidated collaboration between the SACBO group and Intercultura confirms the importance and necessity of offering deserving students the opportunity to gain experience outside national borders. A piece of life that helps to understand how fundamental international relations are and what value they will assume in the years to come. The conclusion of the study trip in a qualifying reality, such as the headquarters of a large airline such as Ryanair, recalls precisely that process of socio-economic and cultural internationalization, of which Milan Bergamo Airport is a protagonist. Each of the young participants will certainly treasure the days spent and will find themselves even more convinced that professional and cultural preparation is the parameter on which the assumption of tasks of responsibility in future work assignments will depend”.
