It was on July 26 that the 2024 Olympics kicked off with a bang in Paris – then with performances from Celine Dion and a boat parade on the Seine.
Just over two weeks later, the event, in which around 10,500 active participants, was rounded off. In total, Sweden had then won eleven medals: four gold, four silver and three bronze.

David Åhman celebrated with mother Sofia Åhman
One of the Swedish athletes who managed to win a gold medal in Paris was David Ohmanwhich along with Jonathan Hellvig won the Olympic final in beach volleyball during the penultimate day of the Olympics.
After the victory, Åhman’s mother also told the SVT profile Sofia Ohmanknown from “Hemmagympa med Sofia”, about how the family would celebrate the feat.
– We’re going to toast something. And our favorite is Pepsi Max so it has to be. Now David will ask for a huge chocolate ball or several batches, she said The Express.

But that very statement has caused the presenter Filip Hammar to react. In “Filip och Fredrik’s podcast”, he goes hard on Sofia Åhman.
– It feels like she wants her son to be a small child. She talked about giving him chocolate balls when he won gold, and then they would toast in Pepsi Max. It gets disgusting there, he says the sectionwhere he continues further:
– I almost feel badly affected. She and her son obviously have a strange relationship. He is still a child to her.

Filip Hammar to David Åhman: “Break”
The fact that Sofia Åhman, in an interview with Expressen, said that the son always has with him a small leopard stuffed toy that he has had since childhood and which has been named Juma, also makes Filip Hammar laugh.
– Stick, don’t be here, I would like to say. You are ruining your son’s career. There is something unpleasant about that, says the host, and also gives advice to David Åhman:
– You have to shake off your mother. Leave her somewhere along the way. Break up with her. There is something not right.
