(Finance) – The value of the index IGI (Italian Gas Index) for August 16th it is equal to €40.71/MWh, slightly higher than August 15th which stood at €40.48/MWh.
The index, calculated daily by the Energy Markets Manager – GMEprovides a tool for interpreting and evaluating the dynamics observed on the gas markets in Italy and is intended as a transparent and replicable reference for operators, for hedging operations and/or for supply contracts.
