The commemoration ceremony for the 80th anniversary of the landing in Provence was held this Thursday, August 15 at the Boulouris necropolis in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as several African leaders. Because more than half of the French Army B, which landed that day, was made up of fighters from African countries that were at the time colonized by France.
