Therese Johaug returns to the ski slopes again.
Before she ended her career, she was pretty much unstoppable.
But now Ebba Andersson says what all Swedes think about the Norwegian.
36 years old makes the Norwegian ski queen Therese Johaug comeback again. It has been the big talk in the skiing world for the past week and it really affects everyone.

Especially the Swedish skiing star Ebba Andersson who now gets a tough rival again. Johaug was extremely superior in the last years of her career and has left a huge void in the 2.5 years she has been away from cross-country skiing.

Since then, she has become a mother for the first time in her life, but at the same time she has continued skiing and training a lot. Therefore, everyone is now wondering how fast and strong she will be on the ski slopes.
Ebba admits
Andersson is not at all surprised to get Johaug back again.
– It wasn’t a huge surprise right away, no, she tells SVT and looks forward to the challenge.
– If you didn’t like challenges, then you wouldn’t have been doing elite sports, because you are faced with challenges all the time. So I mostly just try to see it that way.

Then Ebba says what many Swedes are actually thinking, that a lot may have happened in cross-country skiing in the years that Johaug was retired.
– I think she will be very good, I think so. Then the question is how good we are in comparison. I’m not so sure about that, admits the Swede to the TV channel.
– I believe and hope so. That is the question mark. But I hope we will be closer to her than we were last time. And maybe even manage to match her.
Also the national team colleague Lynn Svahn looking forward to the challenge of facing Therese Johaug again.
– Of course it’s fun! It’s fun when you like skiing so much that you can’t let it go. It will be exciting to see, she says in a statement.
– I think she’s great! If you’ve won everything for many years… I probably wouldn’t have been ready to come back just because it’s fun to compete, but then you want to maintain the highest level you’ve had.
