Swedish world star Armand Duplantis have celebrated the Olympic gold and the world record after the unforgettable sporting evening in Paris. It was one of the most exciting performances of all time when “Mondo” took home the gold medal with ease and then also broke the world record.
Duplanti’s success
Since then, the 24-year-old has celebrated the achievement in a big way, first in Paris with a very wet party night. Duplantis and the girlfriend then left Desire Inglander on a luxury holiday in Greece for a few days.

Zlatan’s reaction
It has obviously reached all the way to another Swedish world star i Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The former Milan player and blue-yellow national team hero is currently working as a sports advisor for the club’s owner RedBird.

Now “Ibra” is speaking out about his countryman.
– I want to praise Duplantis for the world record. It has nothing to do with the Milan shirt. He’s a Milan fan, I don’t know if it’s because of me or not… But trust him, says Zlatan at a press conference.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is very impressed by Armand Duplanti’s progress as a pole vaulter and what successes he has achieved over the years.
– A tribute to Duplantis. He has accomplished great works and is a fantastic representative for Sweden. When I stopped playing, someone needed to take over my role and do great things for Sweden, and he does. He is doing a great job, because Swedish football died after “Ibra” ended, he tells the gathered journalists.
