Pernilla Wahlgren made his debut as program manager for Allsång at Skansen in the summer of 2023. Then the program attracted according to News24’s calculations – based on statistics from MMS – 1.3 million viewers every week.
In the summer of 2024, it has been tougher. Nyheter24 has several times reported on the declining viewing figures. During this year’s season of Allsången, Pernilla has broken several records.

Three of this summer’s evenings have qualified for the list of the worst Allsång viewership figures ever. It is partly about August 6 then Simon Superti and Miss Li was on stage. That program was seen by 715,000 viewers, and is thus the Allsång på Skansen program with the worst viewing figures of all time.
On July 16, it was also an evening with dismal viewing figures. Miss Snusk, Peter Jöback, Herreys and Zoe Lobos managed to attract only 855,000 thousand viewers.

On July 30, Pernilla was joined on stage by Lotta Engberg, Uno Svenningson, Ellen Krauss, Liamoo and New kid. It was watched by 864,000 viewers.

SVT: The viewers chose the Olympics in Paris
Matilda Bagge who is project manager and executive producer for Allsång at Skansen, told Nyheter24 that she believes the declining viewership figures were due to competition from, among other things, the Olympics in Paris 2024.
Bagge believed that the football EC has also played a role.
– This year we have competition from both the football EC and the Olympics in Paris, where our Swedish squad offers great sports entertainment. Allsång at Skansen has a loyal audience and we hope that many will also watch SVT Play afterwards, when other things have attracted more live, said Matilda Bagge earlier in a comment to Nyheter24.
The pick-up for Allsång at Skansen
When the season finale for Allsång at Skansen was held on Tuesday, it went all the better.
On August 13, took among others Orup and Miriam Bryant The Solliden scene to sing together with Pernilla for the last time this summer. It would turn out to be a successful concept.
Fresh viewing figures from MMS show that Allsång has made a long-awaited – and much-needed – pick-up when it comes to viewing figures.

The season finale was watched by 1,018,000 viewers. During the summer, the Allsången has reached “over the million” on three occasions – on 25 June, 2 July and then during the closing on 13 August.

At the same time, SVT has announced that Pernilla Wahlgren will return as presenter of Allsången in 2025 as well.
– I feel incredibly happy for all the great response from the viewers and the audience, so when I was asked to lead the sing-along again, it felt obvious and I’m already looking forward to next summer! I am so excited to continue filling the sing-along with song, music, joy and laughter, and create something new together, said Pernilla Wahlgren in a press release.
