Kit Harington revealed in an interview with GQ that they had been in development for a Jon Snow spin-off series for several years. But it just didn’t work… nothing excited us enough.” He also stated that they decided to back off because they were worried that if the project was pushed too hard, it wouldn’t work out: “I think if we push it any further and keep developing it, we might end up with something that’s not good.”
