The demonstrations are a protest against recent far-right riots.
In Britain, thousands of anti-racist protesters gathered to march on Saturday in protest against recent far-right riots.
Demonstrators took to the streets in London, Cardiff, Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast, among others.
The protests, which turned violent, started with a knife attack by a 17-year-old boy in Southport, in which three children died. During the riots, mosques and facilities associated with immigrants have been attacked, among other things.
The BBC reports that according to the police, almost 800 people have been arrested in the riots that started at the end of July. More than 300 charges have been brought.
The violence subsided towards the weekend.
