Inflation Unc Siena the most expensive city in Italy Biella

(Finance) – At the top of the top ten of the most expensive cities in Italy, wins once again Siena, which, with the highest inflation, +2.6%, also records the highest additional expenditure on an annual basis, equivalent to 663 euros per family. Silver medal for Bolzanowhere the 4th highest price increase, +2%, determines an annual increase in spending of 579 euros for an average family. Bronze medal for Rimini which with the third highest inflation in the country (tied with Benevento), +2.1%, has an additional expenditure equal to an average of 571 euros per year.
This is the podium of the ranking drawn up by the National Consumers Union (UNC) based on the July regional inflation data released today by Istat.

Just off the podium Parma (+1.9%, equal to 516 euros), then Padua (+1.9%, +488 euros), Trento (+1.6%, +471 euros), in seventh place Pisa (+1.8%, +459 euros), then Benevento (+2.1%, +449 euros) and Macerata (+2.2%, +443 euros). Closing the top ten Pordenone (+1.8%, +440 euros).

In the ranking of the most virtuous cities in Italyno city is in deflation. In first place once again Biella, which however marks a zero variation in prices on July 2023, while in June it was -0.4%. Silver medal for Campobasso (+0.3%, +62 euros), followed by Caserta (+0.4%, +86 euros). Also good Ancona and Pavia, fourth and fifth respectively.

At the top of the rankings of more “expensive” regions, with an annual inflation of +1.8%, the highest in Italy among the regions, the Trentino which records an average increase per family of 512 euros on an annual basis. This is followed by Friuli-Venezia Giuliawhere the 1.7% growth in prices implies a surge in the cost of living of 402 euros, third Veneto (+1.6% and +399 euros).

The better regions, even if no longer in deflation, the Molise (+0.3%, equal to +62 euros), the Aosta Valley (+0.5%, +130 euros), in third position the Basilicata, +0.7%, +147 euros.
