After just over two weeks down in Paris, the beach volleyball players and shooting stars are standing David Ohman and Jonathan Hellvig his first Olympic final to meet. In between the matches, they have spent a lot of time in the Olympic village together with other athletes from all over the world.
– We haven’t been to a single competition, we haven’t watched anything. We just took the bus back to the village, says the coach Anders Kristiansson told to The evening paper.
And even though their families have been there and cheered them on, they haven’t been able to spend much time together.
– They got four hours after the quarter-final but then they were home at half past nine in the evening. They meet them a few minutes after the matches and stuff like that, says Kristiansson to Aftonbladet, and continues:
– But then, should you meet the family and be distracted… there’s the phone and Facetime and stuff like that.

The Norwegian creates snack ice at the Olympic village
Many are curious about what happens inside the Olympic village and several athletes have shown off the village on their social media. The Norwegian swimmer Henrik Christiansen has become famous on Tiktok as “The muffin man” after he rated the food served in the Olympic village. He was then served a chocolate muffin which he gave the highest rating.
After this, many people became curious about the chocolate muffins, and one of those who wanted to taste it was David Åhman’s girlfriend.

David Åhman smuggled from the Olympic village
Since no one but Olympians are allowed in the Olympic village, David Åhman was allowed to smuggle out a muffin for his girlfriend. In a clip on Tiktok, David Åhmans shows when he smuggles chocolate muffins to his girlfriend Livia.
“I hope the muffin man doesn’t come looking for me now,” he writes in the clip.
Whereupon Livia also made a Tiktok clip where she writes: “When your boyfriend gives you the Olympic chocolate muffin so you don’t get fomo”.
