According to statements, Russia’s National Anti-Terrorism Committee has begun operations in the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions early Saturday.

According to Uutistoimisto RIA, the measures may include relocating residents from other areas, travel restrictions in certain areas, increased security measures in critical areas, and monitoring of phone calls and other communications.

The Ukrainian armed forces have been conducting a military operation targeting the Kursk region, which has advanced several tens of kilometers since the beginning of the week.
