[Mis à jour le 6 avril 2022 à 11h27] Contaminations at Sars-Cov-2, virus responsible for the global Covid pandemic is falling again with 203,021 new cases counted in 24 hours. Be one slight decrease of nearly 7% compared to the 217,480 cases recorded last Tuesday. Hospitalizations and critical care are in rise of respectively 8% and 0.52%. “The most likely scenario is that the virus continues to evolve. However, the severity of illnesses caused by this virus over time could decline with vaccinations. From periodic outbreaks with more cases and deaths could well happen as immunity gradually declines which could cause booster dose requirements. In our best case scenario we envision fewer severe variants emerging with new vaccine formulations that wouldn’t even be necessary. The worst-case scenario envisaged would be the emergence of more transmissible variants and this could lead to serious forms and more deaths” according to Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director general of the World Health Organization (WHO) during a press conference on March 30. Every day, Santé Publique France presents a dashboard key epidemic monitoring indicators: confirmed cases, death, hospitalizationsadmissions in intensive care or critical care, contaminationdigits of the vaccination… To which are added the data published by the government. here is the review of the latest figures, as of Wednesday April 6 2022.
