A 75-year-old man was reported missing around 7pm on Thursday. The man was last seen at his home around 10 a.m. and is believed to have disappeared on foot.
A large search operation is underway in the community of Sandbäcken, north of Rockneby, where the police are using a helicopter and dogs.
Due to an illness, the man has difficulty walking and there may therefore be a risk that he fell. The police now want the public’s help to find the man.

The 75-year-old is 180 cm tall, has brown/slightly gray hair with slightly longer bangs and a short gray beard. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, black jogging pants and black jogging shoes.
