According to the American think tank “Institute for the Study of War”, Ukraine had managed to occupy an area roughly the size of Lidingö municipality yesterday.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said fighting was still ongoing in the area and Russian television showed images of civilians being evacuated to towns further away.

It is still unclear what Ukraine wants to achieve with its attack. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy did not make it any clearer when he appeared at an official event for the military.
