The company spokesperson said the following about the ban implemented in Turkey: told: “We have spent almost 20 years making Roblox one of the safest online platforms for our users, especially young people. The safety of our users is at the core of everything we do. We respect the laws and regulations in the countries where we operate and share the importance that local lawmakers place on children. In this context, we will work to ensure that Roblox is accessible again in Turkey as soon as possible.” On this issue, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Turkey, Yilmaz Tunc, said the following from his X account: he had said: “Due to the content that could lead to the exploitation of children, access to the game platform named Roblox and its links in the application markets has been blocked by the Adana 6th Criminal Court of Peace within the scope of the issues specified in the “Law on the Regulation of Publications Made on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed through Such Publications” within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. It should not be forgotten that the Republic of Turkey is a State of Law. Our State is obliged to take the necessary measures to ensure the protection of our children according to our Constitution.
