Jenny Rissveds won Olympic bronze in mountain biking.
But the Swede has left such a much bigger impression in Paris.
She is praised throughout the sports world for her beautiful action against a rival.
It was another Olympic medal for Jenny Rissved in Paris. Eight years ago she surprised everyone with Olympic gold in mountain biking during the championships in Rio 2016 and this year it was a well-deserved bronze medal.
Rissveds in the Olympics
But it could have been a nobler denomination if the Swede had submitted a protest when the competitor Haley Batten who took home the Olympic silver broke the rules. But Rissveds refused to appeal and settled for his Olympic bronze.

A sign of admirable sportsmanship and it wasn’t the only time that Rissveds showed his big heart either. During the mountain bike race in the Olympics, it was Batten who got a puncture and it was the Swede who alerted the American leaders so that it could be fixed quickly.

The Swede’s selfless actions in the heat of battle have attracted worldwide attention and been praised by most.

In recent days, Jenny Rissveds has received a lot of attention for another beautiful and heartwarming initiative that almost went unnoticed.
