The main suspect, a 19-year-old man, was arrested in a town south of Vienna, while the second person was arrested in the capital.
The authorities state that they have taken note of “preparatory measures” for a possible attack and that the main suspect focused on Swifts concerts. Chemical substances have been seized and are being investigated.
The 19-year-old is believed to have been radicalized on the internet.
All concerts are cancelled
Security is being tightened around Swift’s three concerts in Vienna, which will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
On Wednesday evening, the organizer announced that Swift’s three upcoming concerts in Vienna are canceled after the information about the planned attack, writes TV4 Nyheterna.
