Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are to play a couple in a new film – and the choice of director suggests gruesome depths

According to Deadline, Zendaya (Challengers) and Robert Pattinson (The Batman) are currently in talks to play the lead roles in Kristoffer Borgli’s next film. The project is being overseen by the renowned US production company A24 and is titled The Drama. No details about the story have been released yet. Rumor has it that the plot revolves around a couple who experience an unexpected turn of events just before a big day.

Anyone who has ever seen a film by the director will be able to imagine that the couple’s romance will probably turn into surreal or bizarre chaos. In Sick of Myself, Borgli already examined a toxic relationship in which the main character kills her successful artist boyfriend with increasingly bizarre, self-destructive actions in the public spotlight want.
