US Secretary of State Antony Blinken urges Hamas’s newly appointed political leader Yahya Sinwar to accept a ceasefire in Gaza.
– He has been and remains the primary decision maker when it comes to reaching a ceasefire, says Blinken.
– So I think this just underscores the fact that it’s really up to him to decide whether to go ahead with a ceasefire that will obviously help so many Palestinians in desperate need.
