With a few months left until the election, Kamala Harris has finally made the decision about who she wants by her side during the presidential campaign.

It was between Governor Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania and former teacher and football coach Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota. On Wednesday, Harris announced that she had decided on Walz.

On Wednesday evening Swedish time, the duo will now give their first speech together at an election rally in Philadelphia.

Before the duo takes the stage, Josh Shapiro, who was voted out as the running mate, gives a speech. He says he will give everything for Harris and Walz to win.

– She has been tough in the courtroom. She has a big heart. She has experience and is ready to drive, he says of Harris.

He also attacked Trump’s running mate, JD Vance.

– He’s a cuckoo, says Josh Shapiro.

Tim Walz wrote on X that it is “the honor of a lifetime” to campaign with Harris.

– I am “all in”, he wrote on X.

– I look forward to building an administration that reflects our shared values, wrote Kamala Harris on Instagram.

After Walz was announced as the vice-presidential candidate, donations poured in to the campaign. In a few hours, they pulled in $10 million, according to Reuters.
