Since 1886, French has been the official language of the Olympic Games. The language of Molière must therefore offer an exceptional showcase for the French language and culture. In fact, the reality is more contrasting. Grip, surf, ride… more and more new Olympic sports such as climbing or skateboarding only use English to communicate.
