Here, water gushes into Tele2 Arena’s toilets – after the downpour

In a video posted by journalist Frida Sundkvist on X, you can see how water flows down from the ceiling inside one of the toilets in the arena.

Mats Viker says that if they had expected that there would be so much rain, the match would have been played with a closed roof in the arena.

– It looks dramatic, but it was not as dangerous as one might have feared. We’ve had worse leaks, it’s manageable, says Mats Viker.

Parked cars half under water

Even outside the arena, the downpour was felt. In Sundbyberg, north of Stockholm, the heavy downpour caused cars to be flooded in a parking lot as the water approached half a meter high levels.
