Armand Duplantis goes for another Olympic gold in Paris.
And he does it in front of the eyes of King Carl XVI Gustaf.

Before the summer Olympics in Paris have Armand Duplantis has been singled out as Sweden’s greatest gold prospect. Since then we have seen Sarah Sjostrom step forward as the great Swedish hero after winning double gold medals in the swimming pool.

But on Monday night, it’s time for “Mondo” to take over the show. Then a blue-yellow fine visit to the French capital also awaits.

– I can hardly imagine what it will be like. I think it will be absolutely incredible. I’m going to “go big”!

The 24-year-old obviously wants to win Olympic gold again, but a dream would also be to break a new world record on the biggest stage in front of the whole world.
– I compete for the Swedish people as well. I will carry the flag and bring home the gold to Sweden, that is the goal, he says and sends a nice greeting to all Swedish TV viewers.
– It’s time! I will represent you and do the best I can, give my all and my heart on every jump. Hope you check, now we’re driving!
