Data miners are not sitting idle. Half-Life 3, which we have been waiting for for years, may be in development under the code name HLX.
Valve’s next-generation single-player game has emerged in data analysis with the code name ‘HLX’. According to rumors, this game could be the long-awaited Half-Life 3.
Valve’s New Single-Player Game Could Be HLX
Half-Life 3 news came to the fore with the leak of HLX with references to “Project White Sands” voiced by Natasha Chandel. The “White Sands” reference is being interpreted as an allusion to Half-Life 3, as “White Sands is a park in New Mexico… the same state as Black Mesa.”
Data reviewer Tyler McVicker shared details about Valve’s game codenamed HLX, stating that this game is a new single-player game without VR. In the game, we are informed that we control a character in a HEV suit; it is very unlikely that this character will be anyone other than Gordon Freeman. This game will be the first game in the Half-Life series after the VR game Alyx.

It’s known that Alyx has been a huge success and has been praised by fans, but the arrival of Half-Life 3 looks set to increase that excitement even further.
Reddit users weren’t indifferent to the leaks either. “These are the kind of leaks that are always entertaining, a legitimate first-hand source that hasn’t been filtered by an influencer trying to create uncertainty for engagement,” one user commented. “A voice actor who’s probably never heard of Steam is nonchalantly saying he worked on Half-Life 3,” another added.
