The alarm came in at 03:00 on the night of Monday.
One person was injured in connection with the explosion and several people were in the villa.
– Callers have said that a bang was heard. When the emergency services arrived at the scene together with an ambulance, they saw no open flames, but a person has been loaded onto an ambulance, says Martin Olofsson, team leader at SOS Alarm, to South Sweden.
The police have cordoned off the scene and a preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been launched.
There are currently no suspects.
