The ARD early evening series Berlin, Berlin hit like a bomb in the early 2000s. The funky romance quickly became a cult classic and remains unforgettable to this day. The series even caused a storm of international acclaim: in 2004 it won the prestigious Emmy Award. More than 20 years have passed since it was first broadcast. Felicitas Woll – Lolle

Felicitas Woll (44) played the lead role of the crazy Lolle in Berlin, Berlin. In the series, she played a young woman who escapes from the small town and wants to find her own way in Berlin. The actress with the striking blue eyes has been in the business for a long time: she had already enjoyed great success before Berlin, Berlin. The raunchy cult comedy Mädchen, Mädchen made her a star. After the series ended in 2005, the actress continued to have success. She played the lead role in the Taunuskrimi and can be seen in various productions. In her private life, things couldn’t be going much better: Woll is married to ex-martial artist Banjamin Piwko (Let’s Dance) and is the mother of two children.

Jan Sosniok – Sven

Jan Sosniok (56) played the role of Lolle’s cousin Sven in the series, who is always having problems with his ex-wife. With his light blue eyes, the actor crept into the hearts of fans. Jan Sosniok was discovered as a model in the 90s and then landed a role in the RTL long-running series Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten. The actor gradually shed his image as a teenage heartthrob and continues to be successful: to this day, he appears in numerous TV productions – including crime hits such as Die Rosenheim-Cops. His private life is also going brilliantly: Sosniok has three children and lives with his wife in Berlin.

Matthias Klimsa – Hard

Matthias Klimsa (53) played the absent-minded but lovable computer nerd Hart. The Osnabrück native had already worked as an actor before his time at Berlin, Berlin. In the 90s he completed acting training and then started out as a theater actor. Smaller TV appearances followed, but his big breakthrough came in 2002 with Berlin, Berlin. Today he lives in Hamburg and has a son. Klimsa can still be seen in various TV series, but not much is known about his private life.

Rhea Harder-Vennewald – Sarah

Rhea Harder-Vennewald (48) is a real legend on German TV. When she joined Berlin, Berlin as Lolle’s roommate Sarah Herrmann, she was already well-known: The actress brought the character of Flo Spira to life on GZSZ and thus crept into the hearts of many fans. To this day, she can be seen in various TV productions. She now also lends her voice to famous radio play characters. Harder is married to TV production manager Jörg Vennewald (43), whom she met while filming the crime series Notruf Hafenkante. The couple have two children together.

Sandra Borgmann – Rosalie

Sandra Borgmann (50) was only in the first season, but she is still one of the most popular characters on the show. In the series, she plays the young actress Rosalie, who dreams of a big breakthrough – in her private life, Borgmann has long since achieved that. To date, the blonde actress has appeared in numerous film and TV roles – most recently in the RTL comedy series The King of Palma. Not much is known about her private life; however, she is the mother of a son.
