The access ban imposed on the social media platform Instagram by the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) yesterday morning continues.
WHEN WILL BE OPENED?
On BTK’s “site information query page”, it was stated that a decision was made to block access to Instagram. While eyes turned to the government front, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced the condition for opening Instagram.
Minister Uraloğlu stated that they were in contact with Instagram administrators and that they had requests and that Instagram would be opened within an hour if the deficiencies were resolved. However, hours have passed since the statement, but there has been no development yet.
IS INSTAGRAM OPENED?
While users who refresh the social media platform every minute are excitedly waiting for the access ban to be lifted, some users stated that they were able to log in to the site. Other users then quickly tried to log in but were unsuccessful. Users who were not able to log in without using a VPN disappointed other users. The government has not yet made a statement on when Instagram will open.
