In this high-flying duel, the Democrat starts with a significant financial advantage. Kamala Harris’ campaign announced that it had raised $310 million in July, more than double the funds raised by Donald Trumpan amount largely collected since the vice president replaced Joe Biden for the November election, AFP reports.
The US Vice President must now choose her running mate. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and Arizona Senator Mark Kelly seem to be the frontrunners. Kamala Harris’ decision could be made at any time.
