Adventure Week is waiting for you in Pokémon GO. We’ve taken a look at what you can expect here.

What kind of event is this? Adventure Week will feature many Fossil Pokémon. The event starts on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. and runs until Monday, August 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

In addition to the appearance of some Fossil Pokémon, there are also some other Pokémon and XP bonuses waiting for you in the event.

    • You can also get Mega Energy for Aerodactyl by completing Field Research. If you get enough Mega Energy to trigger Aerodactyl’s Mega Evolution, you can look forward to one of the best Rock-type attackers in Pokémon GO.

    Which bonuses are active in the event? Within the event there are some bonuses that will give you additional experience points.

  • 2x experience points when you spin PokéStops
  • 5x experience points for the first daily spin of a PokéStop
  • 2x experience points when you hatch eggs
  • Increased shiny chance for Coknodon, Schilterus, Galapaflos, Flapteryx, Balgaros and Amarino

    • What other content is there? The event will also feature PokéStop showcases in which you can participate with event Pokémon.

    There will also be collector challenges with monsters from the event, where you can get Pokémon, Stardust, and Mega Energy for Aerodactyl.

    In addition, you can purchase a limited-time research for $2 (approximately €2). This includes the following content:
