Deadpool & Wolverine has earned the increased age rating (16 years and older in Germany) primarily through its crude jokes and bloody fight scenes. most impressive action sequence takes place at the end of the film, when Deadpool and Wolverine take on a horde of Deadpool variants. And this particular scene even freaked out Logan actor Hugh Jackman.

Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy shared a video on Instagram in which Hugh Jackman watches a rehearsal of the film’s grand finale, which was shot in a single take, for the first time on Levy’s laptop. It’s hard to imagine what Jackman’s reaction was when he saw the sequence in question for the first time in the final cut on the big screen, if he was already so excited about the test recordings on the laptop. The X-Men star clearly enjoyed his Marvel return more than anything. Jackman commented on the Instagram video: “Open the sundeck and let’s go, damn it!”
