What happened at the Kinshasa residence of Joseph Kabila, the former president of the DRC? There were at least 200 of them, according to witnesses. Wearing t-shirts bearing the image of Félix Tshisekedi, president of the DRCsome brandished Molotov cocktails and tried to enter the concession.
The clash with police officers responsible for security at the residence of former President Joseph Kabila was violent.

For Olive Lembe Kabila, there is no doubt: the Kabila family is targeted. This is the second time someone has come to attack me while I am present, with the intention of eliminating me physically. No one is eternal on this earth. We are all tenants. ” she said.
Three members of Olive Lembe Kabila’s private guard were injured and several young people were arrested. Olive Lembe Kabila is convinced that the attack was planned.
A land conflict which degenerated, according to the authorities
The authorities explained that these young people ended up there because they were cornered by the police. They had been mobilized by one of the parties involved in a land dispute a few hundred meters from Joseph Kabila’s residence.
Reputed to be close to the ruling party, these youths had come to force the eviction of one of the parties in conflict. They even destroyed vehicles and some apartments before heading towards the residence of the former president. An investigation has been opened.
