This weekend the weather looks to mix and match.

A Russian low pressure has moved in over Norrland, where it has been rainy and cloudy. But meteorologist Maya Sundsten at Klart sees a turnaround.

    – In the north of Sweden, the weather is quite boring, but it will get better at the weekend. On Saturday, there will be mostly localized showers in the Umeå area, says Maya Stensund.

The heat wave is coming – up to 30 degrees

High summer temperatures are to be expected at the beginning of next week, when high pressure moves in from Europe.

High pressure starts to grow in France during the weekend, passes Germany and Denmark and reaches southern Sweden on Monday. The high pressure also spreads over almost our entire country.

    – A high pressure over Europe is forming, and it looks like it will reach us as well. It looks set to stick around until Thursday, anyway.

The heat will reach almost all of Sweden. It will be the warmest in Uppland, Sörmland and Östergötland.

    – It can be up to 30 degrees.
