Earlier this month, there were two incidents involving a wolf around Leusden. On July 6, a woman reported that her poodle had been taken by a wolf. Ten days ago, an after-school care center reported that a girl had been bitten in her side by a wolf. The province confirmed via DNA research that a wolf was definitely involved in the incident. The previous incidents took place on the Den Treek estate in Leusden, after which part of the area was closed off to the public.
