An explosion occurred in a gate to an apartment building in Hässleholm during the night of Thursday.
Police and emergency services were alerted at 01.41 about loud bangs.
– It must have been something that has slammed into a gate, but it hasn’t burned or produced any smoke. There must be damage to the door, I don’t know how big it is. No one is injured, says Sören Gustavsson at SOS Alarm.
At 02.30 the emergency services had left the scene, but the police remained for a technical investigation.
On the police’s website, it is confirmed that there has been material damage to the entrance and that windows have been smashed.
“On site, it is established that an entrance to an apartment building has been blown up,” the police write.
The site is cordoned off and police patrols continue to work at the site.
The explosion was felt in the house
According to information to the newspaper Northern Scania the explosion must have been felt in the house.
– It hit so the whole house shook, says one of the residents to Norra Skåne.
The incident is classified as a public hazard devastation, according to NSk.
Accommodation must not have been evacuated.
