Britain’s public prosecutor’s office said on Wednesday it has authorized police to charge a 17-year-old man suspected of a Southport knife attack with three counts of murder and 10 counts of attempted murder.
Three children were killed and ten people were injured in a knife attack on Monday in Southport, northwest England. The attack took place at a Taylor Swift dance class for children aged 6 to 11.
The suspect is in police custody.
The suspect is due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court later on Thursday.
