Deadpool & Wolverine has been in cinemas since last week. The first and only MCU film this year exceeded all expectations at the start and thrilled Marvel fans with over 20 cameos. Anyone who watches the multiverse team-up with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the German dubbed version and does not read the credits carefully will, however, missed a few hidden guest appearances have.

Ladypool and an army of Deadpools

In the original English version, Marvel fans will hear Ryan Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively as Ladypool, Matthew McConaughey as Cowboypool and Nathan Fillion as the flying head aka Headpool.

Although these Hollywood cameos in the German dubbed version not directly take place, Disney and the responsible dubbing studio have come up with a clever alternative. The three talking Deadpool variants were voiced by voice actors who match their original stars.

  • Cowboypool’s German voice: Benjamin Völz – regular voice of Matthew McConaughey
  • Headpool’s German voice: Tobias Kluckert – Nathan Fillion’s voice in The Rookie and Castle
  • More “hidden” cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine

    In addition to the three big stars, the Deadpool Corps also features a number of other cameos. The two mini-Deadpools Baby pool and kid pool by Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s children Olin and Inez. And even Tom Holland’s brother is hiding in the fray.
