Last year, the tech giant Meta made serious cutbacks and a total of 10,000 employees worldwide had to leave their jobs. Increased personnel costs

But despite the cutbacks at Meta, the number of employees at Facebook Sweden actually increased from 65 to 70 in 2023. As a result, personnel costs also increased and it was a worse year for Facebook Sweden. The company shrank from turnover of SEK 4.4 billion in 2022 to SEK 3.9 billion last year.

From the figures that Breaktit took note of, it appeared that personnel costs for 2023 amounted to a whopping SEK 236 million, something that can be explained, among other things, by severance pay for personnel who quit.

That’s how much a monthly salary is

Pure wage costs at the company were just over SEK 120 million in 2023 according to Break it. If you divide the exact sum by the number of employees and then by 12, you get an average monthly salary for the employees of the company.

And the figure landed at SEK 143,840. Not so bad huh? If you compare with the Swedish average salary as per Statistics Sweden is at SEK 39,900 a month, it is no small amount.
