The swimmer of the Finnish Olympic team who competed in the heats of the 200-meter breaststroke today Matti Mattsson has contracted the corona virus. Mattsson gave a positive result in the corona test, the Olympic Committee informs.
Mattsson finished 18th in the heats with a modest time of 2:11.18.
– Swimming was not a proper performance. The bad result was a complete mystery to me, so we made a team doctor Maarit Valtonen with the corona test, the result of which was positive, Mattsson said in the Olympic Committee’s press release.
