Israel carried out an airstrike on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, today. A Hezbollah commander was targeted in the attack. The latest statement said that the targeted commander was alive. A statement came from the US regarding the incident.
“WAR IS NOT INEVITABLE”
Following Israel’s airstrikes on the Lebanese capital Beirut, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the United States does not believe a war between Hezbollah and Israel is inevitable.
