Electric car with a guarantee of happiness in love

Specifically, it’s Renault in England that offers an anti-divorce guarantee on its new Scenic electric car, which named European Car of the Year for 2024. It reports Carup.

The offer may seem risky for the car brand, as divorces are not exactly uncommon these days.

Electric car that guarantees happiness in love

On its website, Renault writes that the new Scenic is “such a perfect family car” that it promises buyers happiness in love. Otherwise, they get the money back.

The fact that Renault UK dares to offer a divorce guarantee must be due to the fact that the car offers such a pleasant driving experience that it is impossible to disagree when traveling in it.

The low noise level, the soft suspension and the pleasant interior are believed to be sufficient to blow away all quarrels and arguments.

The riding experience must also rub off on the children, who must remain calm the whole way, which means that the parents do not need to intervene and thus start conflicts.

Need proof of divorce

In order to benefit from the guarantee in the event of a divorce, however, certain requirements must be met.

First, the car must be purchased directly from a Renault dealer. If you have leased your Renault Scenic through work, you are therefore not covered by the warranty.

This means that a full 80 percent of customers automatically fall away, which undeniably reduces the risk of the offer considerably for Renault.

You must also be able to show court papers that the relationship has ended, which means that it must be a marriage or documented partnership.

So far, the offer is, as said, only available in Great Britain, and whether it will also come to Sweden in the future is unclear.
