After 12 years in Early Access, the full version of 7 Days to Die has now been released on Steam and consoles. And it’s been really well received by players.
7 Days to Die is a game that combines several genres. In addition to survival, shooter and role-playing elements, the zombie game also includes mechanics from the tower defense genre. And this combination is well received by players.
The game has more than 226,000 reviews on Steam, of which a whopping 88% are positive.
After being in Early Access since 2013, 7 Days to Die moved to version 1.0 and left Early Access on July 25, 2024. Since then, players on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series have been able to enjoy the full version of the game. And players are rewarding for that.

How do players reward the full version? The versions for PS5 and Xbox Series are well received by players. As the developer studio shows on X, the game currently has a rating of 4.8 out of a maximum of 5 stars on the PS5 and 4.4 out of 5 stars on the Xbox Series.
The release of the full version also seems to be a success on Steam. Here the game set a new record with 125,419 simultaneous players.
What happens next in the game? The developer studio The Fun Pimps says that they are currently working on a crossplay feature for the game. There will also be updates and new content for the game until at least the end of 2025.
In April 2024, the development studio already published a roadmap for 7 Days to Die, which hints at further content up to 2025.
